Chopin’s music is one of the most beautiful ever written, said Claude Debussy. From the poetry of the Lullaby, to the formidable energy of the Sonata in B minor, the wave to the soul of the Mazurkas of opus 59, to the avant-garde of the Barcarolle, this disc offers us a new approach to the romantic expression of Chopin. Through his intimate and daring interpretations, pianist Hervé N’Kaoua invites us to discover the many facets of the personality of this universal composer.
